Vietri sul Mare Exit Ramp — Seismic Upgrade

The project

The exit ramp at the Vietri sul Mare junction is a curved, elevated structure carried on a sequence of piers. Our seismic upgrade design began with a complete survey: the ramp was measured at night, under traffic management, and documented in a general plan and thirteen cross-sections — S1 to S13 — along its length.

Each section records the deck geometry, pier heights and ground profile at its station, and the plan locates the expansion joints along the curve. Together they form the basis for assessing the structure’s current capacity and defining the upgrade interventions.
